6 Steps To A Healthy And Kissable Mouth [ADULTS ONLY]

It may be your first kiss, a wedding day kiss , or even a kiss with the
partner of many years…they are all the same.
Many times, a romantic mood is dispelled by an emergency trip to the
bathroom to check the status of your mouth. You don’t want your
breathe to disappoint you!
It is usually that sense of smell that becomes most important in
deciding if you will ever get to kiss a person again.
Scientists have suggested that our lips and tongues are packed with
nerve endings, which help intensify dizzying sensations of being in
love when we press our mouths to someone else's.
Here are few tips on how to keep your lips and mouth more kissable
for your partner.
1. Exfoliate your lips
A kissable mouth begins with soft and succulent lips. To get the
softest, most kissable lips, you have to slough off old, dead skin cells
that will make your lips feel rough. Get a lip scrub and use it a few
times each week.
This will not only soften your lips, but will also clean them and leave a
lingering sense of freshness behind.
2. Drink lots of water
A dry mouth is a smelly mouth, and it’s a major telling factor in
dehydration. When your mouth is dry, germs flourish and your breath
gets worse. So drinking plenty of fluids will naturally clean your
breath.
This is also important in maintaining the moisture in your lips, which
is critical to enjoying a smooth, soft kiss.
When you are dehydrated, your lips will look dry and deflated, and
your kiss will be very unpleasant.
3. Brush your tongue
You have to brush twice daily with your toothbrush and a good
toothpaste. Brushing should not be limited to your teeth, but also your
tongue. This is because some germs live in the crevices of your
tongue.
The white or yellow coating that sometimes forms on your tongue is
the collected waste of bacteria.
Always remember that bacteria waste is sulfurous and extremely
stinky.
4. Avoid sugary mints
Gum tends to increase saliva flow and the chewing can help to clean
between teeth.
Sugary mints can cover bad breath for a few minutes but they
eventually feed the germs that produce odour. Therefore they should
be minimized for a good kissable mouth.
5. Minimize sugar consumption
You have to minimize foods with natural or refined sugars to keep you
healthy. Nothing is bad for a kiss than a mouthful of decaying teeth.
Every time you eat, especially sugary meals, you're providing fuel to
the bacteria that attack your tooth enamel.
6. Floss daily
Flossing between your teeth is just as important as brushing. Your
toothbrush bristles simply cannot reach between the teeth where
some plaques and food particles hide.
The proteins that hide between the teeth get broken down by oral
bacteria and this creates smelly odours.
Experts’ advice that you floss before brushing. If you do not have time
for flossing in the morning, always floss in the evening before your
final brush of the day.
